FAQs

Q: What is SNAP?

A:  The Social Network Appreciation Platform enables brands to integrate gift and loyalty programs with social networks and reward customers for their in-store purchase activity as well as their digital activity. The SNAP community is made up of individual brands sharing a robust and flexible hosted rewards application. Within SNAP, brands can engage customers by building creative loyalty campaigns with things like badges, leaderboards and automated check-ins on services like foursquare. The main feature of SNAP is the ability to allow customers to enable automated messages to services such as Twitter and Facebook when they complete a loyalty transaction. In return for sharing their experience with friends and followers they can be rewarded extra loyalty points. See the features page for more info.

Q: How does it work?

A:  See our demo here. SNAP works in conjunction with various systems such as point-of-sale, 3rd party processors and other platforms to push social messages through Application Programming Interfaces (API's) provided by each social network.  Customers enable the messages within the customer interface for the desired brand installation of SNAP.  When a loyalty or gift transaction is completed, SNAP automatically posts the customized messages to friends and followers. Rewards are then credited to the customers account based on the campaign setup by the brand. Separate Portals allow customers and brands to manage account options, enable features and view reports. Depending on your business type, there may be several options to integrate your existing systems with SNAP. Contact us for more info.

Q: How much does it cost?

A:  Pricing structures may vary depending upon number of locations, account membership or transactions related to a particular business. See the Pricing page.  Add-on features are available for an additional monthly cost.

Q: What's the ROI?

A:  As with any social media related campaign, defining objectives is key to determining results. Depending on your goals and level of integration with SNAP, there are numerous points of measurement that can be used such as social impressions, awards earned, and increased customer engagement and loyalty. For each SNAP feature there are reports that will help you determine how effective one campaign is versus another.
